With over 20 years of international experience in the mineral exploration and mining industry, Matthew is a true explorationist with a passion for discovery. During his time in the industry, Matthew has explored for a wide variety of deposit types and commodities in world class mineral belts and mines covering 14 countries.

Having spent his career working with major and mid-tier mining companies in lead geophysics roles, Matthew has gained in-depth experience with the use of cutting-edge exploration technologies. These range from the latest geophysical data acquisition systems to the use of state-of-the-art 3D interpretation and modelling software. In these roles he led the companies’ global geophysical teams, resources, research, exploration projects, and contributed to countless evaluations of new business development opportunities.

Through his contributions and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, Matthew has generated significant value for companies. This was achieved through discovery of new mineralized zones in both the greenfield and brownfield environments and disciplined evaluations of new business development opportunities leading to successful acquisitions of quality assets.

This experience has led to the creation of Hardrock Geophysics with the mission of providing companies of all sizes exploration guidance and geophysical support to help them make their next discovery.
